I am persuing a degree in Professional Studies with the following Clusters:

    • I currently work for a company as their IT Manager. I have three employees that work for me. We take care of the IT needs of both facilities, one here in Meridian, Idaho and one in Westminster, Colorado. I am returnting to school to finish my degree so that I can be a better employee.

    I love that BYU-I offers this degree as an all online solution so that I can take the classes needed and still work and support my family.

    I hope to learn more about project planning and to better hone my existing programming skills as a result of this class.

    I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since my baptism in 1985. I was 8 years old and had been attending the church since my birth. I have been asked if I have a favorite thing and anyone that knows me knows that I do not. I usually go with the current liking, but that changes so frequently I can honestly say that I do not have a favorite of anything.

    I am married going on 19 years and we have 3 children. My oldest is 17 she is a Junior in high school. My second is 14 and he is a Freshman in high school. My youngest is 8 and she is currently in the 3rd grade.

    I do have to be honest, I was not excited about taking this class as I have already had higher programming classes from when I attended UVU. (Web Engineering I) However, after reading the Syllabus, I found that this class will cover planning stages that I could use to make my projects be more succesful. I hope to get a lot out of this class and use the knowledge that I glean from it in my professional, perssonal, and acedemic life.
